This year our 2/3 Multi-Age classroom is practicing the use of a classroom economy. Students hold jobs with different pay rates each weak, earn credits and debits for their behavior in the classroom, and save their money for a classroom store that occurs bi-monthly. The economy will not only reward students for the work they do within the classroom and for positive behavior, but it will also allow students to learn about the economy, money management, and the importance of a job well done.
